One Week In

5:30 pm

With classes and homework becoming large factors of my time, I definitely got a wake up call that I am here for school as well as to be a tourist. Nonetheless, I've visited many more places and found many more hidden beauties in the city.

I'm currently recovering from a cold but I felt well enough to do some exploring in the afternoon. I went to the top of Cerro San Cristóbal and it was amazing. My legs are feeling it, but the adventure was well worth the ascend. Here are my couple of days (mostly today) in pictures.

Welcome to my hood. (featuring Kenya lol)

Corparación Cultural de Las Condes was a very nice area for the public. I would say it is similar to a community center and it has a library, theater, art display and a cafe.

This heladería, Emporio La Rosa is one of the top 25 in the world.
Ice Cream was BOMB

I can't say that it's the best ice cream I've had but they did have some crazy flavors that set them apart from others.

I was hoping they'd have chicken and waffles... but nah

Jugo de Mote

It's steeper than it looks

Cerro San Cristobál was definitely a hike especially because we wanted to take shortcuts

Near Bellavista, there aren't many people of African descent here but once in a while you will find them illustrated in the art.
