7 Recipes to Master This Summer #2: Chicken Alfredo

If you follow me on SnapChat, you probably saw that my brother inspired me to make a vamped up Chicken Alfredo. This recipe is great for meal prep and pretty easy to make since I used pre-made sauce. I did not take that many pictures but trust me when I say this is something you should try!


Fresh Mushrooms
Grape Tomatoes
Thin Sliced Chicken Breast
2 16 oz. of Alfredo Sauce
Pasta of Choice
Red Pepper Flakes
Garlic Powder
onion and herb seasoning

The Process:

  1. Sauté chopped onions and mushrooms before cooking the chicken,
  2. Chop up the chicken breast and season with all of the listed seasonings.
  3. Add chicken to the onions and mushrooms and while the chicken is cooking, cut and boil the broccoli until it's bright green then drain. (Be careful not to over cook them!)
  4. During this time you also want to boil water for your choice of pasta or noodle. (I ended up using wheat rotini)
  5. Once the chicken is thoroughly cooked, add the sauce and let simmer for 5-10 minutes, then add the grape tomatoes.
  6. Once the noodles are done, combine with the sauce mixture as well as the broccoli and voilà!
Many of the measurements were done by eye or preference so don't be afraid to add your own twist to it. Don't forget the garlic toast :)
