7 Recipes to Master This Summer #4: Grilled Salmon

6:27 pm

Salmon is one of my favorite fish to eat. There are so many ways to prepare it and here is a fresh simple recipe that pairs well with a nice arugula salad topped with grated parmesan cheese. Honestly it's really easy to make and if you do not have a grill, try using a grill pan. The key is to not over cook it because then it will be dry.

What you'll need:

Fresh Salmon Fillets
Garlic Powder
Lemon Pepper
Fresh Lemon
Vegetable Oil
Arugula (optional)
Grated Parmesan (optional)

The Process:

  1. Rinse fillets and then pat off excess water.
  2. Next, add vegetable oil and then season both sides with the seasonings (feel free to use any seasoning that you like).
  3. Brush the grill or grill pan with oil and place the fillet on the pan. You will want to cook the salmon without much disturbance for about 10 minutes and then flip it to the other side.
  4. Within 8 to 15 minutes (depending on the thickness of the salmon) the salmon should be ready. You'll know when the fish begins to flake.
  5. Once done, squeeze fresh lemon juice on it and serve with your favorite sides!
