7 Recipes to Master This Summer #1: Baked Sweet Potato Fries

5:46 pm

I don't consider myself to be a food blogger, but I am human and I love to eat... a lot. Thanks to my sister's love for cooking and also her photography skills, I want to share 7 of her recipes that have inspired me and that you should definitely try this summer too.

Sweet potato fries are a good substitute for regular french fries, and are also a healthy alternative because these are baked and not fried. They can be served the same way as french fries and go great with a burger or a grilled chicken sandwich (as pictured above).

Sweet Potato Fries
Prep Time: ~45 minutes
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Wash and peel sweet potatoes then cut to desired size. (Ours were about half of an inch wide)
  3. toss cut potatoes with olive oil, sea salt, and a little bit of black pepper.
  4. Bake for near 30 minutes or until they have reached your desired crispiness
  5. And voilà, you have got yourself some baked sweet potato fries, serve them with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.

Enjoy!
XOXO Michelle
